The work of the Institute’s Board is delegated to several committees. In addition, ad-hoc working groups are formed when required. To contact any of the Board, please visit our Contacts page.
The Chairman and Vice Chair(s) of the IoL are an ex-officio member of all the committees and our officers Sue Nelson, Executive Officer and Jim Hunter, Training & Qualifications Officer both sit on all committees in a non-voting capacity. The committees are tasked by the Board, and report to the Board. There are some members of the committee's who do not sit on the Board and have volunteered from the membership to help develop and support the Institute.
Interim arrangments (May 2012)As an interim arrangement, the Management and Organisation committees are to merge under the chairmanship of David Chambers. This arrangement will continue until the end of 2012, at which time the Board will make a decision about whether the committees should continue as one or revert to the original, seperated position.
