This 2 day training event for the Home Counties Region is available to Institute members at no cost

    10.15am - Street Trading: Licence or consent / Pavement Cafes

    11.30am – Street Trading: Fees & Charges / Stated Cases / Enforcement
    12.45pm – Lunch
    1.45pm – Taxis / Private Hire Legislation
    2.45pm – Coffee
    3.00pm - Taxis / Private Hire Legislation / Scenarios
    3.45pm – Quiz, Summary and Questions


  • Day 2 (31st March)

    10.00am – Licensing Principles / Licensing Legislations / Principles of Law / Policies / Guidance / Hearing Procedures (appeals)

    11.30am – Licensing Act 2003 / Types of authorisation / application process (clubs, premises, personal and TENS)

    1.45pm – Gambling Act 2005
    2.45pm – Coffee
    3.00pm – Stated Cases and Scenarios
