DESCRIPTION:

The SW regional training day will be held at the Borough of Poole on Monday 13th September.

AGENDA:

Chris Woodward, Animal Welfare Manager at Stevenage BC, will be speaking about "dangerous wild animals - ones that can bite" (Please be warned that Chris will be bringing along some snakes and spiders to assist him).

Coffee

Duncan White from Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service will be talking about 'The Fire Safety Order 2005 versus The Licensing Act 2003 - A Common Sense Approach to Event Management’.

Leo Charalambides from the Arden Chambers will be discussing fees and policies for Sex Establishments.

Lunch

Philip Day of Horsey Lightly Fynn will be telling us how to really annoy a licensing solicitor.

Jason Kirkwood, Licensing Manager at Mendip District Council, will be leading an interactive session on visits to licensed premises.

After Jason's session there will be an expert panel to finish the day so if you have any questions you would like our speakers to prepare for in advance please contact us.
