The Training

This one day course has been designed to meet the needs of officers requiring training in this complex area of legislation.

The course is aimed at officers who licence council caravan sites and council lawyers who have a duty to regulate the licensing of caravan sites.

The course will provide 5hrs CPD. The Institute is registered with the Solicitors Regulation Authority. (CPD reference:- LGLF/CPC).

The Training

The training will cover Scheme of Delegation, Mutual Aid & Shared Services.

The training will be held at Hertsmere Borough Council Offices on 27th February 2012.

The training will be delivered by James Button.

The Training

This is a three day enforcement course taking delegates from investigation though to trial.

The training will be delivered by Barristers from Francis Taylor Building including Gary Grant and Jeremy Phillips who is the general editor of Paterson's and the Law of Regulatory Enforcement including sessions with Julia Bradburn.

The course is aimed at Police and Council officers who have a duty to investigate and lawyers.

The High Court has overturned a partial Costs Order made against a Licensing Authority by the Magistrates' Court on Appeal.

Lidl UK GmbH (Lidl) appealed against the decision of the City of Glasgow Licensing Board (the Licensing Board) to suspend the premises licence in respect of 300 Victoria Road, Glasgow for 5 days following a single failed test purchase. The appeal failed and costs were awarded to the Licensing Board.
