This one day course on 20th June in Birmingham is aimed at local authority licensing enforcement officers and those in similar roles. The course will deal with offences “on site” using pocket books as original notes, actions to be taken in the initial investigation and conducting a formal interview prior to possible prosecution. The trainer will be Mick Start. The Institute of Licensing acredits this course as 4 hours CPD. The Non-Member fee includes complimentary membership until 31 March 2018.
Learning Objectives: To provide an increased understanding of the basic principles of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 and Codes of Practice in relation to evidence gathering at the early stages of an investigation.
