The Home Office is the Government department responsible for policy on crime, policing, counter terrorism and UK borders. The Institute of Licensing is pleased to work in partnership with the Alcohol Policy Implementation Team of the Drugs and Alcohol Unit to deliver a series of Intensive Support Visits in allocated areas.

The aim of the project is to provide enhanced support to regulators and enforcement agencies, to promote fair and effective compliance management of licensed premises through partnership working with residents and industry operators, and using a stepped approach to securing compliance.
