The Council is looking to appoint a dynamic, resilient, enthusiastic and decisive professional, to provide leadership and management to a team of professional Trading Standards and Licensing officers. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of managing regulatory services within a Local Authority and will be responsible for delivering a high quality, technical and professional Trading Standards and Licensing service. The successful candidate will regularly be expected to provide accurate, high quality advice to the Council's Elected Members, Senior Officers, Licensing Committee, partners and the general public.

Applications are invited from those individuals who are suitably qualified and/or have the necessary experience to excel in this role. 

Educated to a degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline or extensive relevant practical experience plus experience of working in a political environment.
