Location - Taxi Licensing Office, Waterfall Lane, Cradley Heath, B64 6RL

Salary - Band E SCP 18-25 (£27,344 - £32,020 per annum) (£14.17-£16.60 per hour)

We are looking for an appropriately experienced Enforcement Officer to join our Taxi Licensing Team.

If you are an excellent communicator who is able to work on your own initiative and you enjoy working in a fast paced environment we want to hear from you. You should have experience of working in an enforcement or licensing environment for a minimum period of two years. Excellent ICT skills and experience of using Microsoft Office programmes is essential.

The post holder should hold or be willing to obtain qualifications offered by the National Association of Licensing & Enforcement Officers (NALEO).

You will be required to:

Address complaints from members of the public, inspect vehicles against our policy requirements, attend licensing committee as an expert witness, you will work closely with Police and other partners when investigating complaints and for proactive multi agency safety operations.

The Taxi Licensing Team operate Monday to Thursday 7.45am -16.15pm and Friday 7.45am-15.30pm.

However, the post holder must be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business which includes the need to work evenings and weekends as required. The post holder must also be able to travel throughout the borough.

You will also be required to undertake a Standard Disclosure and Barring Check.

Hours - 37 hours per week
