Guildford Borough Council - Compliance Officer - Licensing Closing Date: 06/11/2023

We would like to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Officer with experience in the administration and enforcement of Local Authority Licensing to join a multi-skilled, Compliance Team.  The team regulates a diverse range of disciplines including: environmental control, public health, food safety, health & safety, licensing, planning, private sector housing and environmental crime. Your role will be to deliver regulatory services in relation to Licensing, including Licensing Act 2003, Gambling Act 2005, Taxi and Private Hire, Street Trading, Sexual Entertainment, Charitable Collections and Pavement Licensing. Experience in Animal Activity Licensing although not essential would be welcome.

 Qualifications

Compliance Officer Level 3: Relevant qualification and/or extensive work experience in specialist area.
