Licensing Admin Officer - Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils Closing Date: 15/08/2023

About the role:

You will provide support to the Licensing team by administering applications, taking enquiries, and assisting officers with their daily tasks. You will be required to attend Stowmarket Office on a Wednesday to assist the Licensing Officers with appointments.

About you:

  • Experience of a regulatory and business support service is desirable, and you should be able to prioritise effectively and switch rapidly between varied administrative tasks
  • NVQ 3/A level or equivalent knowledge gained through experience
  • Effective communication skills to exchange information, both orally and written, with a range of audiences
  • Knowledge of LalPac Licensing software would be desirable but not essential
  • You will need to have a clean driving licence and access to a car to enable occasional travel for work purposes.
