Permanent, full-time (36 hours flexible), salary £23,272 to £32,152 p.a. (dependent on experience) plus essential car user allowance.

 

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Licensing Officer to join our busy team.  Your full range of duties will include enforcing the relevant provisions under the Licensing Act, Gambling Act, street trading/collections, hackney carriage/private hire, scrap metal dealers, and animal welfare.  You will be doing site visits and licensed premises inspections.  Whilst under covid-19 conditions, desk-based work is being carried out whilst working from home.  You will need your own transport to get around the district.

You will be enthusiastic, committed, self-motivated and have a positive attitude. You must be an excellent communicator with sound time management skills and be confident in dealing with members of the public.  You must be able to demonstrate your ability to adapt to changing priorities and work to tight deadlines.
