Salary: Starting Salary is £28,371 (Level one) rising to £30,151 (Level two)

About the Role

The role involves processing applications made under the Licensing Act 2003, Gambling Act 2005, Animal Welfare Regulations 2018, Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013 and the Local Government (Miscellaneous provisions) Act 1976 & 1982 to name a few.  The role requires you to meet legislative timescales, guide and advise customers in respect of the various application processes, take payments, arrange hearings and complete legal documentation where required and to issue licences once determined. 

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working with Licensing legislation 
  • Full knowledge and understanding of legislation applicable to this role 
  • Ability to plan and manage own workload to meet legislative timescales 
  • Have experience of working in a fast paced environment to meet customer needs and demands
