This advert is open to both Internal and External applicants. We require a team player for a fast paced, customer focused licensing team. You will be responsible for processing and issuing licences including taxis, premises, gambling and scrap metal.

Contact will be with customer face to face in our reception and also over the phone / via email. To provide licensing support in a flexible manner, ensuring that an effective, efficient, accurate and customer focused service is delivered using a variety of IT packages.

Process correspondence/telephone calls and follow up issues to ensure timely response. Any other duties appropriate to the post. A good standard of education and experience of working within local government or similar work.

Competencies associated with NVQ Level 2 in Administration/Business Studies or equivalent.
