About this job

An opportunity has arisen to work within the Council’s Regulatory service as Senior Licensing Enforcement Officer and duties of the role, include assessment of technical suitability of business premises where appropriate, in respect of licensable activities to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, rules of management, Codes of Practice and guidance, to assist with mediation in suitable cases. Also, undertaking enforcement inspection in respect of both licensed and unlicensed premises and carry out enforcement action and any follow up legal proceeding. Act as the responsible authority officer under the Licensing Act.

We want a self-motivated individual who possesses excellent communications skills in providing a customer focused service to businesses, stakeholders, Councillors, and members of public in professional manner and provide technical advice and assistance.
