Daniel Davies to step down as IoL National Chairman in March 2024 Published Date: 01/12/2023

IoL Chairman Daniel Davies has confirmed that he will step down from his role as National Chairman of the Institute of Licensing in March 2024 after 9 years at the helm.

Dan made the announcement at the National AGM held on 15th November during the National Training Conference.

Dan said that serving as Chairman had been 'an amazing experience' and that he has been proud to be part of the IoL's journey over the last 9 years.   While stepping down from the Board, Dan confirmed his intention to continue to work with the IoL as an advisor going forward.

In the meantime, Dan will work with the Board to progress the business review currently in progress, while also supporting the handover to his successor.

IoL President James Button paid tribute to Dan's work as Chairman, saying that he had achieved a huge amount in his time on the Board, taking the IoL to another level and serving with passion and commitment to the organisation and everyone involved.

The IoL will now look to recruit a new National Chairman.  Anyone wishing to express an interest, should contact Company Secretary Sue Nelson via email to sue@instituteoflicensing.org.  The deadline for expressions of interest is 31st January 2024.
