Department for Business & Trade: Call for Evidence re Smarter regulation and the regulatory landscape Published Date: 25/10/2023

The Department for Business & Trade have issued a call for evidence in relation to smarter regulation and the regulatory landscape. with a view to understanding what works well and what could be improved in how regulators operate to deliver for the sectors they serve.

They are particularly interested in success stories and areas for improvement on regulatory agility, proportionality, and consistency of approach. They are also interested to understand any further steps that can be taken reform the existing stock of regulation on the UK statute book.

The call for evidence will last for 12 weeks and close on 7 January 2024.
