No World Cup Licensing Extension Published Date: 14/11/2022

In a short statement, the Government said:

"We have now had ministerial agreement to not do a blanket extension for any of the games in the World Cup."

It confirmed however that there is "agreement that we can consult on extending licencing hours for the Coronation on 6th May 2023. We will keep you up to date on when the consultation will take place."
