London Region Christmas Meeting (4 December 2014)

The IOL London Region Christmas meeting features talks on money laundering and illegal poker clubs, dealing with people working illegally in licensed premises and whether we are effectively using the existing powers we have under the Licensing Act.

As usual we'll be opening with port, sherry and mince pies for breakfast and all delegates will get a free IOL Christmas goodie bag.

This training is aimed at Police, Local Authority Licensing Officers, lawyers and others involved in the licensing process to improve their knowledge of current issues affecting alcohol and gambling licensing.

London Region Gambling Training (20 January 2015)

This event is hosted by IOL London and features talks from Charlotte Meller, Ian Perrygrove and Rob Burkitt from the Gambling Commission.

Licensing Fees (19 February 2015)

Event Date: 19/Feb/2015

This full day event on 19th February 2015 will cover all aspects of licensing fees, including what can be charged for, how to set and justify fees and the outcomes of the Hemming's Case.

The trainer will be James Button from James Button & Co. and the training will take place at Camden Town Hall.

How to Plan a Safe Event - (26/27 February 2015)

Event Date: 26/Feb/2015

This course is suitable for all persons involved in event planning, including Licensing Officers, Police Officers and other Safety Advisory Group Members as well as organisers of events. The trainer will be Professor Keith Still and takes place at Camden Town Hall.

The course will provide 10 hours CPD, 5 hours per day. The Institute is registered with the Solicitors Regulation Authority. (CPD reference:- LGLF/CPC, course reference OUTDOO0009).
