IoL London Free Christmas Training (3 December 2015)

This event features talks on a practical guide to local authority fee setting, legal highs, how to spot signs of drug use in licensed premises and types of drug used, the consultation on proposed changes to licence conditions on making gaming machines available for use and the Code of Practice on Powers of Entry. The training is aimed at Licensing Officers, Members, Police Officers, lawyers, the licensed trade and any other persons who deal with alcohol and/or gambling licensing. The aim is to raise awareness of current issues and to highlight some of the potential pitfalls and opportunities.

We offer a high quality buffet lunch after the event and all delegates will receive a free Institute of Licensing powercharger.

The Institute of Licensing accredits this course at 2.5 hours CPD.
How to Plan a Safe Event - Chelmsford (9-10 March 2016)

This two day course is suitable for all persons involved in event planning, including Licensing Officers, Police Officers and other Safety Advisory Group Members as well as organisers of events. The trainer will be Andy Hollinson BA(Hons) FdA who has over 20 years experience within the safety and professional security industry.

The event takes place in Chelmsford, Essex.

The Institute of Licensing accredits this course at 10 hours CPD (5 hours per day).

Professional Licensing Practitioners Qualification (15th - 18th March 2016)

Event Date: 15/Mar/2016


Due to the continued popularity of previous courses we are running the Professional Licensing Practitioners Qualification (PLPQ) training course again in March 2016. The course will commence on Tuesday 15th and finish on Friday 18th March 2016 and will be held at the St James Hotel, Nottingham.

Each of the four days will finish with an exam to give delegates the option of sitting an exam in the subjects related to their current area of work or the delegates can just attend the training on each of the four days.

The Institute of Licensing accredits this course at 4.5 hours CPD daily.
