Licensing Fees (19 February 2015)

Event Date: 19/Feb/2015

This full day event on 19th February 2015 will cover all aspects of licensing fees, including what can be charged for, how to set and justify fees and the outcomes so far of the Hemming's Case.

The trainer will be James Button from James Button & Co. and the training will take place at Camden Town Hall.

How to Plan a Safe Event - (26-27 February 2015)

Event Date: 26/Feb/2015

This course is suitable for all persons involved in event planning, including Licensing Officers, Police Officers and other Safety Advisory Group Members as well as organisers of events. The trainer will be Professor Keith Still and takes place at Camden Town Hall.

The course will provide 10 hours CPD, 5 hours per day. The Institute is registered with the Solicitors Regulation Authority. (CPD reference:- LGLF/CPC, course reference OUTDOO0009).

London Region Meeting and AGM (5 March 2015)

Event Date: 05/Mar/2015

This training is aimed at Police, Local Authority Licensing Officers, noise officers, lawyers and others involved in the licensing process to improve their knowledge of current issues affecting entertainment licensing and noise control at licensed premises.

This event will provide 2.5 CPD hours. The Institute is registered with the Solicitors Regulation Authority. (CPD reference:- LGLF/CPC)(course code: REG1DA0078).


Now and Next - London (18 March 2015)

Event Date: 18/Mar/2015

The 'Now & Next' course is aimed at everyone with an interest in licensing, including Licensing Officers, Police Officers, Councillors and legal advisors of the licensing committee.

The course intends to bring the delegate up to date with the latest changes and case law that have taken place across several areas of licensing including gambling, alcohol, entertainment and taxis.

Each session will be led by a member of the Cornerstone Barristers Licensing Team and the aim is for lively interaction from both delegates and other members of the Cornerstone Barristers Team to discuss.
