A late-night premises licence has been granted inside Nottingham’s stress area.
The East Midlands Link reported that H.A.A.N.K Ltd had obtained a new premises licence for site 8 – 18 Chapel Bar in Nottingham City’s Saturation Zone. The site previously traded as Sinatra’s before it closed.
H.A.A.N.K Ltd has acquired the site to relocate their bar and kitchen brand, Fat Cat which currently operates from a venue on the opposite side of Chapel Bar.
The new licence will allow the premises to open until 1.30am. This is an hour and half later than the previous licence and the new licence has been granted without the conditions which restricted the venue to be operated as a restaurant style operation. This was important for the Fat Cat brand and their customer base.
A spokesperson for H.A.A.N.K Ltd said: “ “This is an exciting site for us which will allow us to relocate but without leaving the immediate area. This was very important to enable us to continue to cater for customers loyal to the brand with no disruption as well as allowing us to move to premises better suited for our future plans for the brand.”
