Licensing Fees 3rd February 2020 Southampton City Council, Licensing Team, Civic Centre, Southampton SO14 7LY South East
Members Fee: £160.00 + VAT
Non-Members Fee: £210.00 + VAT

Leo Charalambides and Ben Williams, Kings Chambers will be delivering this one day training course on Licensing Fees at Southampton City Council.
In light of the ruling on 10th December 2019 from the Court of Appeal in the Wakefield case, there appears to be greater clarity over the way in which licensing fees across the five strands of taxis may be calculated. However, does the judgment provide more questions than answers? What about supervising and enforcing against unlicensed drivers and vehicles? Leo Charalambides and Ben Williams will endeavour to unpick the judgment and will seek to explain what, if any questions remain.
They will also provide a comprehensive analysis of the general principles applicable to licensing fees and associated costs of the same.
