Are you a taxi licensing practitioner with a thirst for getting stuck into a project?
The Greater Manchester (GM) Licensing Network which covers the ten district Councils of GM are looking for a contractor to support our Minimum Licensing Standards (MLS) project which, following consultation, is now working towards developing a common set of minimum standards covering drivers, vehicles and operators and aligning to the statutory guidance issued in 2020.
We already have one of our Licensing Managers seconded part time to lead on policy and report development, but we need some further support to cover the following areas:
- Research and analysis
- Examination of consultation data
- General project support
A sound working knowledge of taxi and private hire regimes is desirable.
