Licensing Team Leader - Swale Borough Council Closing Date: 08/05/2022

POST TITLE: Licensing Team Leader

SECTION: Community Safety Unit

SALARY: Grade 8 (£37,343 - £42,006)

 

We are looking for an experienced licensing professional to come and join our growing licensing team on a full time, permanent basis. If you have experience of working within a local authority licensing field, with experience of line management, we would like to hear from you for this brand new role.

 

This role will support the Community Safety Manager in the day-to-day management of the licensing team. It will take responsibility for compliance to various licensing related legislation, to provide performance management information and to ensure they keep abreast of emerging trends and issues.

 

Within the multi-agency community safety team this role will involve working with a variety of internal teams and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will need to have excellent communication skills and hold excellent IT skills.

 

The successful postholder will need to have previous experience of advising and implementing policies and procedures and also have detailed knowledge of legislation in relation to Licensing, Gambling, Street Trading and Taxis.

 

Experience of using IDOX/Uniform/Enterprise would be useful, along with experience of managing budgets, however training would be provided for these.
