Working safely during coronavirus

The Government’s Covid secure guidance has been updated as follows:

  • Providers of grassroots sport and gym/leisure facilities - Providers of grassroots sport and gym/leisure facilities guide added.
  • Performing arts - Performing arts guide added.
  • Close contact services - All close contact businesses can open from 13 July with some restrictions. The guidance has been updated to detail the services which cannot be offered (How to use this guidance), add information on saunas, hot tubs and steam rooms (section 2.1), update guidance on alternative treatments (section 2.1), clarify that disabled parking bays should not be used for queuing (section 2.1) and add further detail on ventilation (new section 2.2).
  • Restaurants, pubs, bars and takeaway services - Guidance added on entertainment permitted in venues (section 4.5) and fire risk assessments for repurposed spaces (section 4.8).
